Udaipur: Police busted an interstate online betting racket during the IPL season, arresting six persons and seizing electronic equipment from a farmhouse in Pratapgarh district. Police recovered accounts worth over Rs 12.75 crore from the spot. The accused were identified as Harshvardhan Agrawal (27), Purushottam Regar (24), Prince Kumar (30), Lakhpat Vishnoi (25) and Harman Singh (24), and Rambabu Mukhiya (26).According to police, they recieved a tip-off about a large scale betting racket being carried out from a farmhouse near Sarvodaya School that belonged to the alleged kingpin Ankit Dosi. Following this, police teams led by additional SP Gajendra Singh Jodha and DSP Gajendra Singh Rao raided the place.At the spot, Dosi was not present but police found he was monitoring all operations taking place there remotely through live feed of CCTV cameras. Later, six people were caught on the first floor of the farmhouse while placing bets. During interrogation, the accused said they had been running the operation for the past 8тАУ10 days, providing betting IDs and passwords to customers through platforms such as Star66, Diamondexch, Star-777, 247 and Lotus, with transactions facilitated via Telegram and WhatsApp.Police also seized six laptops, 38 smartphones, 48 SIM cards and WiFi devices. Examination of devices and records revealed that transactions worth Rs 12.54 crore took place between Oct 24, 2025 and April 8, 2026, besides around Rs 11 lakh that took place on the day of the raid.Police have registered a case under relevant sections of the BNS, RPGO Act and IT Act. A search is on for Dosi, while further investigation is underway to trace other suspects and linked bank accounts.
