Jaipur: A BJP functionary in Rajasthan has been receiving relentless death threats and a Rs 5 crore extortion demand from Rohit Godara gang for over two months, raising uncomfortable questions as the party remains in power in the state.Police have identified the complainant as Vijay Singh Palada, deputy district president of BJP’s Nagaur rural unit. Palada said he lodged an FIR at Banipark police station on April 12, alleging that members of the Godara gang and its associates repeatedly threatened to kill him and his family if the money was not paid. tnn
