Kanpur: The newly appointed vice-chancellor of Chandrashekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Sanjeev Gupta, addressed all members of the university family, including academic and non-academic cadre, at the Kailash Bhawan auditorium located within the university.He said to restore the former glory of the agricultural university, it was essential that all worked together in research, extension and teaching activities so that the university regained its recognition at the international level.The recruitment process for vacant posts in the university would commence soon after receiving permission from the government, the new V-C said.Gupta emphasised the use of agricultural innovations such as natural farming, modern technology and sustainable agricultural practices to reduce agricultural costs and increase crop productivity through efficient use of resources.University teachers, officers, scientists and other university members were present on this occasion.
