Kanpur: Pranjal Singh of Dr VSEC School clinched the Under-17 boys’ title at the Billabong Chess Championship held at the school premises in Shanti Nagar on Sunday.A total of 78 players participated in the tournament, which was conducted over five rounds across multiple age categories, including Under-8, Under-11, Under-15, and Under-17.The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where senior national arbiter Prashansa Verma awarded certificates and trophies to the winners.Results:U-17 boys-1.
