Three men killed in head-on collision in Udaipur

Udaipur: Three men were killed and one seriously injured after two speeding motorcycles collided head-on late Sunday night near Bichhiwada village on NH-58E in the Falasia police station area of Udaipur. The impact threw all the riders onto the road. Both the motorcycles were badly damaged.ASI Chandulal told TOI that Falasia police station team reached the spot after receiving information. The bodies of the deceased were kept at the Jhadol Govt Hospital mortuary, while the injured person is undergoing treatment. The deceased were identified as Anil Katara, Akshay Angari and Yashwant Himat, while Mohit Angari was injured. The deceased’s families were informed Monday morning after identification. The bodies were later handed over to the families after post-mortem. ASI Chandulal stated that Akshay, Anil and Mohit were returning home in Bassi after attending a social event in Oda village on the same motorcycle. Yashwant, a resident of Boria village, was travelling to Udaipur on the second motorcycle. Police believe that the accident occurred due to the sudden glare of vehicle headlights. Police are probing remaining aspects. Yashwant worked as a hotel cook in Udaipur, while Akshay, Anil and Mohit were daily wagers.
